Between “absent dialogues”: the rap of protest, the censorship and criminalization of social protests

On February 8, 2018, Tirso Sitoe researcher and executive director of Bloco 4 Foundation was the guest for the IESE (Institute of Economic and Social Studies) methodological seminar.

Sitoe in his presentation explored the experiences of musicians and RAP protest in Mozambique as an entry point to analyze issues related to freedom of expression, censorship and criminalization of social protests and to think how the meanings of ” belonging “in the frictions between social exclusion / inclusion clusters in” good governance “contexts.
