The human relation’s studies in term of social contexts and specific historical. It could use the visual equipment’s sounds, technological ethnography production, analyzing from the anthropological theories.
We actually see in the Mozambican cities, occupations of public spaces, by different collectives , dispersed or organized, in the struggle for the right to the city, based on a great multiplicity of initiatives, aimed at denouncing social vulnerability and which violates ideological- which suggests that the different frictions between them and the state, from the lens of in this sense.
This research group, focuses on (i) documenting and understanding issues of urban visuality in the context of glocal dialogues that define the existential forms of the city (ii) promote spaces for collective engagement through urban and urban interventions iii) advocate for a policy of visuality urban.
Neste sentido, este grupo de pesquisa, centra-se (I) em documentar e compreender questões de visualidade urbana no contexto de diálogos glocais, que definem as formas existenciais da cidade (ii) promover espaços de engajamento coletivo, através intervenções artvistas urbanas e (iii) advogar por uma política de visualidade.
The process of seeking a guarantee of human rights, accountability, transparency, good governance, among others, has occupied an increasingly important place in the political and social scene, in the course of political and social struggles in different civil society organizations in Mozambique and Angola.
Despite significant progress in establishing the law on freedom of expression and information, state repression and judicial complicity, it has revealed the existence of very tense intimate relationships between government and various segments of civil society.
This research group seeks to document and reflect about the local or place of speech liberty in the context of one “militarized” state in Mozambique.
In the context of social movements in Mozambique, the emergence of voices within the youth sectors, which, based on the principle of representativeness, has been tirelessly questioning the state representatives about the political and economic processes in the context of governance.
In this path, these movements have been promoting spaces for the affirmation of an active citizenship, using multiple initiatives to express themselves, among them music.
This research group analyzes the different configurations of civic engagement and citizenship in Mozambique, focusing only on RAP musical narratives of protest, as a point of entry for the understanding of the dynamics of power among musicians, the public and state representatives.
They meet in this line of research investigators that you/they have been accomplishing researches in themes and subjects related to the following themes: sexualities, social relationships of gender, social movements, activism, public politics and human rights.
In that perspective, there is special interest in the analysis of national and international politics focused in the different forms of political fight by the women’s rights and for reduction of the gender violence, actions for the combat to the sexual discrimination and also in the analysis of politics of State that you/they promote the gender equality and sexual diversity in their different expressions.
